Seeing, Believing, and Blinds

From art theory to quantum physics, it seems that there are more reasons to believe that perception really does determine reality to a large degree. What people see can shape how they think about the world, certainly. But buried in that notion is the possibility that one can change their own view of the world by taking an active role in looking. In some senses, then, perhaps some of the great secrets in life have to do with learning how to see.

There are ways of altering one’s own physical living space in order to start creating a vision for themselves that they can grow with. Some of these changes are visible the very Next Day. Blinds are one very simple, but elegant, way of altering the view. It is an external thing, where one can control the light coming into the room, block out the outside world when it’s time for solitude, and also add a touch of beauty that can have stunning effects on a room.

The changes are also internal, however, because affecting the external does mean that one’s own internal perceptions will start to shift. So while changing the look of a room with a cosmetic choice like Next Day Blinds is a way of making this version of the world more beautiful, it also brings harmony to the inner life, and there lies all the difference in the world.
